- After enrolling in the PSI plan, login to the Penn portal using your PennKey & password then proceed to the online insurance selection system.

If you fail to complete the university's online waiver and are charged with the PSIP or receive a message stating that your coverage with PSI is being audited, you will also need to submit a Health Insurance Verification Form either to Aetna Student Health by fax at 410-822-1478 or to UPenn's SHS Insurance Office by fax at 215-746-0904. If you experience either of these cases, please send a message to Geoffrey@psiservice.com explaining your situation and we will send the form to the appropriate office. PSI has diverse options for International Students which are provided by the most trusted insurance companies in USA like Aetna. PSI insurance makes an intimidating system more approachable for international students in the USA. I used PSI in my 2019-2020 academic term as it was a good alternative to my university's student health insurance plan. The claim process was straightforward. The team was also very responsive. Due to the pandemic, I planned my return to the USA to be in the middle of the semester. PSI representatives were very helpful in tailoring my insurance coverage dates and my premium amount to match my needs exactly. The team continued to be very responsive throughout: to every query I received a response by the next day (often within the next couple of hours). I would recommend PSI to other international students.

I had my inquiry and request resolved quickly and promptly, so I am very happy with PSI's customer service. As for PSI's products, I have not yet used insurance from PSI so I cannot give any feedback, but I can attest that the plans are well tailored to the needs of international students and are at an affordable price.
