    • How to Waive the School Plan
After purchasing your insurance with PSI, go to the PennPortal website. You may log in through the portal at this point, or you may log in after you access the insurance selection page. From this page, follow the link to “Health Insurance (Waiver and Enrollment)”. If you did not log into the Portal, you will now be asked for your PennKey and Password. After you submit your PennKey and password, you will proceed to the on-line insurance selection system. The on-line system will direct you on how to submit your insurance selection. If you need help in the insurance selection process, please contact the Student Health Insurance Office at 215-746-3535 option #3. A customer service representative will be happy to provide assistance.
    • UPenn Health Insurance Verification Form
If you fail to complete the university's online waiver and are charged with the PSIP or receive a message stating that your coverage with PSI is being audited, you will also need to submit a Health Insurance Verification Form either to Aetna Student Health by fax at 860-907-4730 or to UPenn's SHS Insurance Office by fax at 215-746-0904. If you experience either of these cases, please send a message to Hong.Gao@psiservice.com explaining your situation and we will send the form to the appropriate office. Should you require further assistance you can always contact UPenn's SHS Insurance Office (3535 Market Street, Suite 100, Room B101, Philadelphia, PA 19104-3376 | Phone: 215-746-3535 | Fax: 215-746-0904 | Email: shsinsur@pobox.upenn.edu) with any questions or concerns.
